Shop by Brand Feature Makes Shopping Easier
eSpec™ Customers, make sure you take advantage of the "Shop by Brand" feature. For example, let's say some customers want to come to your site and search for a laptop. If they have a specific brand in mind before arriving on the site, the minute they land on the home page they can click on "Shop by Brand," select the brand, and then select the category.
Think about the implications of this feature: If such customers have never been to your site before they may not want to look through your whole catalog to find what they already know they want. On the other hand, if they can get to it in two or three clicks without having to search through other items, they're actually more likely to look for other products on your site. They are also more likely to come back to your store again later, because easy-to-use sites gain the customers' confidence. Match Your Template Colors to Your Logo Colors
Match your template colors to your logo colors If you are using our eLink solution, you can switch to a clean, hi-tech, CSS layout that matches your logo colors. To implement this feature, select PROFILE --> TEMPLATES in your site management. You should see two tabs for "Template Type I" and "Template Type II." Under the new type of layout, you'll still be using the basic buttons and headers from "Template Type I," so make sure you've selected one that matches the look and feel of your layout. If you select a different one than the one you are currently using, make sure to click the "Save" button, and then re-enter PROFILE --> TEMPLATES.
Now for the fun part: Click the tab that reads "Template Type II." In the left window you'll see a preview of your site. You need to select "Yes" for "Enable Type 2," then select your colors. You can select colors using our color picker on the right side of the box or by directly entering a hexidecimal code that precisely matches your logo color! Additionally, make sure the Primary and Secondary TEXT colors are changed as well so that your text remains readable. Click the "Save" button and then click the "Store Preview" button at the top of the management to see the results! You can change and tweak the settings to get the look you want.
NOTE: You may need to shut down and restart you browser to see the results.

Web Site Promotion Ideas
You've got a great Flashecom store, and now people can find you on the web. That fact alone helps your business, but what more can you do to increase traffic to your website?
Make sure you're making use of the "Traffic Builder" located in your store management at PROFILE-->PREFERENCES-->TRAFFIC BUILDER. Figure out the words you think people will type into a search engine to find a store like yours, and use those words plentifully in the LOGO ALT, PAGE TITLE, DESCRIPTION, and KEYWORDS section. Search engine traffic is still the number one source of new customers for any online business.
Do you know of any online stores that are not competitors but have content or products relevant to your site? Another way to increase search engine traffic is to have other pages, such as tose just mentioned, link back to you -- the major search engines take this into account.
Is your URL, or web site address, visible to customers and potential customers? If you maintain a walk-in store as well, some of your customers may not know about your online business, which would mean convenience for them and added sales for you. Make sure that your URL is on every piece of printed material you have, even letterhead. Close association between your logo and your URL is key.
